Am I able to receive Aghapy TV?
This depends entirely on your location. The shaded regions in the maps below show where Aghapy TV is currently available.Telstar 12 (15° west) coverage: North America as far west as Cleveland and Atlanta, and the majority of South America; Europe as far east as the Ural Mountains and south into North Africa; the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
Galaxy 25 (97° west) coverage: Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and into Canada and Latin America.
Optus B3 (152° east) coverage: All of Australia and New Zealand.
What satellite dish size will I need?
This will depend on your location. Please check which of the above satellites is appropriate for your region, and ask your local satellite dealer/installer of the required dish size to receive broadcast from this satellite.
Can I use my existing satellite dish?
If you have a satellite dish that meets the minimum dish size requirement for your location, then you should be able to use this to receive Aghapy TV. All you need to do now is to align your dish to the satellite covering your geographical region, and tune your receiver to the correct settings for your location (see below).
If you would like to receive Aghapy TV as well as channels on another satellite, you may want to consider upgrading to a motorised satellite system, which will allow you to control direction of your dish using your satellite receiver. A less expensive option would be to fit multiple LNBs to your satellite dish, but this ultimately depends on the positions of the satellites you would like to receive.
In any case, your local satellite dealer will be able to give you a better idea of which options are available to you, based on your location and needs.
What are the receiver settings?
The receiver settings will differ from location to location, depending on the satellite to which your dish is aligned. The settings for all of the satellites broadcasting Aghapy TV are detailed on the left.
